What excites you about the Algoma COVID-19 Pandemic Recovery Plan for Older Adults and their Caregivers?
I am excited that we are concentrating on this growing population who have complex multifactorial needs. The team are working in collaboration with many different health care partners, which I hope will help make it easier for patients and their families, to improve navigation and access to our health care system. There are so many different aspects of the plan which I feel are important, but I am excited that we are focussing on early identification of older adults who are at risk of frailty, or who are frail, and working with them to try and optimize their health and wellbeing.
Who would you invite to a tea party and why?
My own mum who I have not seen in a couple of years, I would love to just sit down with her and see her in person and enjoy a cup of tea.

What excites you about the Algoma COVID-19 Pandemic Recovery Plan for Older Adults and their Caregivers?
I am excited to help older adults regain strength and maintain independence. The pandemic has changed how specialized geriatric services and community agencies communicate and collaborate. I think we are better equipped to work together for the good of our community.
Who would you invite to a tea party and why?
I would invite my mom and the cast of Schitt’s Creek. Laughter is good medicine!
